Facilities Manager [9319]

Association seeks a temporary-to-permanent Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of VA based office. 

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of building, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Manage building systems and conduct routine inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs with external partners. 
  • Oversee mailroom functions, ensuring timely delivery of internal mail. 
  • Manage contracts and relationships with mail carriers and building service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Approve invoices and develop and monitor facilities budget to determine cost efficiencies.
  • Coordinate logistics for events and meetings. 
  • Supervise facilities and mailroom staff.
  • Support operations by partnering with HR, IT, and leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively. 
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude. 
  • Previous experience managing vendor contracts and relationships. 
  • Experience managing logistic operations or mailroom.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing facilities or building operations.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Rate:
$22 per hour while temping. 
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year once permanent.
