Membership Director [2646]
Nonprofit organization seeks a temporary-to-permanent Membership Director to oversee member communications, engagement, and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Address membership inquiries in a timely manner, serving as the point of contact for new, prospective, and existing members.
- Regularly interact with members and provide updates related to programs and benefits.
- Provide strategic oversight to membership departments and manage the execution and implementation of initiatives.
- Maintain the online career center and job board, collaborating with partners to secure and post listings.
- Update the internal database and manage the email inbox.
- Develop and disseminate marketing emails.
- Process membership renewals.
- Assist with logistics for annual conferences and meetings.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effectively manages and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
- Exemplary judgment and problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong computer and database management skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial or senior-level membership position.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Rate: $30 - $35 an hour while temping.
Salary: $105,000 - $110,000 per year once permanent.
