About the Job
Nonprofit organization supporting healthcare research seeks a permanent Publications Coordinator to manage the manuscript submission and review processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Submit and track manuscripts for peer review and prepare files.
  • Assist authors with online submissions for manuscripts.
  • Prepare documents to be sent to advisory boards and committees.
  • Prepare agendas and take meeting minutes.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate internal scheduling of conference calls.
  • Handle correspondence and liaise with internal departments.

Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proven record of meeting deadlines and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
  • Two years of experience managing publications.
Salary: $50,000 per year.
