HR Professional [6832].

Engineering and consulting firm seeks a permanent HR professional to provide strong human resources support to the department, administering HR and recruiting initiatives and strategies. 

Responsibilities:
  • Build the internal recruiting team, leading the hiring process of recruiters, defining the scope of the role, creating standard operating procedures, and providing ongoing training.
  • Oversee recruiting cycle by creating job descriptions and sourcing and interviewing candidates.
  • Ensure practices related to recruiting are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.  
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and develop methods to optimize recruiting and hiring processes.  
  • Maintain internal applicant tracking system and suggest product improvement.
  • Partner with recruiting agencies.
  • Collaborate with marketing department to create social media strategies for recruitment.

Qualifications:
  • Exemplary judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Self starter with excellent initiative. 
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Understanding of a wide range of human resources practices and strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
  • Previous experience in a senior-level human resources and recruiting role a must.

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year.
