HR Professional [6832].

Engineering and consulting firm seeks a permanent HR professional to provide strong human resources support to the department, administering HR and recruiting initiatives and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Build the internal recruiting team, leading the hiring process of recruiters, defining the scope of the role, creating standard operating procedures, and providing ongoing training.
Oversee recruiting cycle by creating job descriptions and sourcing and interviewing candidates.
Ensure practices related to recruiting are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Monitor recruitment metrics and develop methods to optimize recruiting and hiring processes.
Maintain internal applicant tracking system and suggest product improvement.
Partner with recruiting agencies.
Collaborate with marketing department to create social media strategies for recruitment.

Qualifications:

Exemplary judgment and problem-solving skills.
Self starter with excellent initiative.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Professional and positive attitude.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines effectively.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Understanding of a wide range of human resources practices and strategies.
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
Previous experience in a senior-level human resources and recruiting role a must.

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year.
